Helpful Tips

Helping tips for playing any sport like football, baseball, and basketball. Each sport requires major tips to help you in order to make it to the big leagues. Like the NCAA than from there it’s the NFL, MLB or NBA.

First step is practice, practice and practice.  The more practice you got at playing the sports that you want to play the better you will get and get a chance to play in the big leagues. Second, is focus. Third, commitment of the sport.

In football you have to do the most practice to get to the higher levels. In football you will have at least 10 to 20lbs of gear on you and you have to get used to wearing all of it in order to play in a game. Next thing is strength. If you don’t hit the weight room at all during the season and off season their no way you be able to play football at all.  The weight room is where you are going to get better and stronger.

Baseball all you will need is hand eye coordination, agility, power and speed. Hand eye coordination helps you keep your eye on the ball when it is hit towards you. Also for batting when the pitcher throw the ball to the catcher so you know when to swing and where the ball is being thrown to, either in or out of the strike zone. Power to hit the ball to see if you’re able to hit line drives to the corners or hit homeruns. Agility and speed to run toward a fly ball or running the bases to know when to stop in pick off or a run down.

Basketball  you will need practice shooting, dribbling skills, passing, and speed. Practice shooting can help by improving for accuracy that you never miss a shot and able to score more baskets. Dribbling skills to cross over your opponent and make them fall and for you to score. Passing skills that you almost never miss your teammates when passing. Speed to run up and down the court to stay in program with the game.

  1. good tips man, i played football back in high school and it was hell. The pads sure feel heaver after a while of hitting and running. Conditioning was probably the worst part of the practices of football. I was defintely told about the weight training during football. I was this skinny kid who was about 135 pounds, i wanted to come back a beast so i hit the weights. I came back my senior year weighing about 190 pounds... yea it was awesome. Reading my tip will show you how i grew so much haha well good stuff dude especailly about the basketball, that sport takes a lot of practice there is a lot of skills that is needed for that sport

  2. I think the tips on basketball are pretty on point. The best part about sports is you can always get better. It may sound corny but practice makes perfect is the helpful quote for any athlete. Most pros do not just have the super freak talent that they have in their sport. Over time they have practiced to craft that skill. It can become second nature and easy the more practice. For basketball I concentrated on shooting. It all comes down to rhythm once you have it down it is hard to stop. I would shoot around for hours to find my hot and cold spots. I would work on those cold spots to improve those certain areas. I make it a point that is unacceptable to miss an open shot because no one is stopping me from making that shot except me. It just takes the time and effort you put in and you can get significantly better.
